The Eggs & Issues Breakfast is an annual event hosted by the Georgia Chamber of Commerce where members of Georgia's political and business communities gather to hear government officials outline their legislative priorities. 2026 headliners included Gov. Brian Kemp, Lt. Gov. Burt Jones, and House Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington).

Kemp pledged to invest heavily in highway and other infrastructure improvements to improve traffic. He also referenced his planned legislation entitled the "Education and Workforce Strategy Act," which aims to strengthen collaboration between Georgia's university and technical college systems. Kemp announced that these systems had developed an articulation agreement focused on teacher preparation. A copy of Kemp's full remarks can be found HERE.

Jones focused on efforts to lower or eliminate income and property taxes while also promoting expansion of private school voucher programs.
