TRS held its bimonthly meeting on July 28, 2021. The TRS net position at the end of June was $102,152,614,492. Executive Director Dr. L.C. Evans presented the board with an updated membership report, and the board approved the Amended FY 2022 budget and the FY 2023 budget.
Membership Report
Service retirements rose from 6,116 in FY 20 to 6,835 in FY 21.
As of July 1, 2021, there were 125,612 service retirees with an average monthly benefit of $3,456 and an average age of 59 at retirement.
