The State Board of Education (SBOE) approved its 2021 meeting schedule and an appointment to the State Charter School Commission at its monthly meeting on Thursday, Dec. 10. The board also approved 30 budget items that can be reviewed HERE.
At a called meeting on Friday, Dec. 11, the SBOE approved a statement in response to the audit of former Chief Turnaround Officer Eric Thomas. Thomas resigned the position earlier this year. After reviewing the audit, the SBOE took no action and closed the matter.
