Slow Day at the Capitol
After the frantic pace of Crossover Day, the General Assembly slowed its pace as St. Patrick’s Day arrived. While both chambers were in session today, no education-related bills were taken up. Legislators will convene for Day 31 tomorrow, and there are no education bills scheduled for a vote. Committee meetings have also been sparse this week. Legislators are likely to kick into overdrive next week as they push towards Sine Die, currently scheduled for April 4.
In tomorrow's Capitol Report, PAGE will provide a roundup of all budget-related items and education bills that passed the Crossover Day deadline.
